The Wonder of it All...
The temperatures are starting to get cooler, especially in the evenings. When this happens, I love to have campfires at night and just look up at the starts. Spotting satellites, shooting starts, and just enjoying all the constellations. This past weekend, however, was a new experience for me. I have never captured a "star trail" photo. The picture above is actually 133 photos taken in 30 second increments over a period of an hour and forty minutes, and then stacked on top of each other to create the circular "star trail" caused by the earths rotation. It fascinates me! I am so excited to go back out and spend another Saturday night in the woods to capture more of the beauty in the sky! Here are a few Milky Way shots I got that night too. Enjoy.
